The Paleo crew started off their morning by enjoying some delicious breakfast prepared by Ranger Creek Ranch and then headed off to the Whiteside Museum to meet up with their guides Chris and Holly. Then the crew headed over to the dig site to enjoy their last day of digging, all of our diggers found all sorts of things! The group in Tiffany's Quarry found some rib bones and Ms. Trimble found a vertebrae with the fin spine attached to it. The group in the Main Bed found all sorts of things like the skull of Vee the Dimetrodon, fin spines, ribs, a scapula, and more of the skeleton of the India dimetrodon. The group in the Southern Quarry finally reached some bones today, they were super thrilled. They found mostly rib bones, fin spines, and a couple of vertebrae. Overall today's time at the dig site was cold but memorable. The Paleo Crew was sad to leave it all behind.
After our crew left the dig site, they headed back to their respected places to get ready for their dinner with Chris and Holly and others. At the dinner the group will enjoy the company of each other and Chris and Holly, they will also have a fun awards night presented by Dr. Salem and Ms. Trimble. Then they will sign off the night and then head back to Houston in the morning!
